Laura incorporates their experiences of working in healthcare into their works which are influenced by political activism, social injustices, and climate change. Laura donates 10% of profits to NHS charities, and carbon offset projects. They are a ‘craftivist’ and have earned the nick name of the ‘Poli-tea-cal mug maker’ due to their slogan adorned mugs. Laura’s newest collection is made using the motion of the potter’s wheel, weaving together unique vases from multiple clay. The vessels evoke our shared heritage, the genetics and characteristics passed down through generations. Each piece celebrates our sameness and individuality.
