The Ultimate Accessories Gift Guide

Super Seconds Festival is right around the corner and it’s the perfect time to pick up gifts for your loved ones ahead of Christmas! This week we have 5 amazing makers from our accessories category to share with you:

Jo Gill Designer Maker

After starting working with leather on a shoe making course, Jo has developed her skills to create small batches of fun and colourful leather pieces. She wants her work to bring you joy when you wear it or use it so there’s lots of lovely colour in everything she makes. Jo uses recycled leather where possible and reuses old clothes in her work as sustainability is a core part of her business.

Katy Mai Webster

Katy makes ceramics and jewellery inspired by the beautiful coastal landscape in North Wales. Each piece is individually made by hand using traditional ceramic processes and printmaking techniques. Her ceramics are high fired stone and porcelain with platinum and gold detailing added to the fired ceramic surface so you get something not just beautiful but also well made.

Layla Holzer

Layla is an illustrator based in Wales and turns her illustration work into beautiful jewellery. Her work is inspired by flora, fauna and femininity. She enjoys creating connections between motifs of nature, magic and wondertales. Her interest in folklore and nostalgia is present across her work and she works with various mediums and processes to create her beautiful pieces.

Red Paper House

Red Paper House is home to jewellery and accessories that are inspired by nature and created by Amy. She started it through a love of accessories, a passion for craft and a desire to express creativity. Elements of nature are combined with bold colours, geometric shapes and hand illustrated patterns to create her collections of unique jewellery. Each piece is designed and made in Yorkshire from responsibly sourced materials from the UK.

Willow Leather

Every piece at Willow Leather is crafted with love and care by Amber. As a small independent brand based in Hertfordshire, Amber takes great pride in creating clean-looking and practical pieces that are designed to stand the test of time. Her work is vegetable tanned which uses tree bark, fruits and leaves in the tanning process to embrace a more environmentally friendly approach to dying leather.
