Lots of indie makers have seconds, samples or misprints that just didn’t go quite right, and are normally taken to in-person fairs to be sold at discounted prices. Super Seconds brings these discounted goods to you to shop online and it’s fastest finger first to grab a bargain.
That means one-off, high quality prints, ceramics, homeware, jewellery, kids stuff, and more being sold across the country at lower sales prices
OUR STORY
Sophie from The Creative Incubator (formerly Ink & Bear) came up with the idea in September 2020 in the middle of lock down after screenprinting a whole pile of t-shirts that went ever so slightly wrong!
She launched the idea 3 weeks before the first Super Seconds event and thought she’d have 10 people joining in with her – by the first Super Seconds there were over 250 makers involved and it’s continued to grow from there!
Super Seconds Festival is run by Sophie, Abby and James. Between them they organise the whole festival, including virtual community meet ups, expert workshops, panels, and lots of Instagram lives.
